Professor; Master’s Supervisor; Group Leader of Master’s Supervisors of Japanese Major


Vice Dean Lei Ming received his Ph.D. in Management from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in 2010. He received his MA in 1996 and BA in 1993 from Wuhan University. Courses taught by Vice Dean Lei include Basic Japanese, Japanese Interpretation and Tourism Japanese. He also heads Basic Japanese, a university flagship course. He has published over 40 articles in academic journals including People’ Daily, Fujian Tribune ( Humanities & Social Sciences), Guizhou Social Sciences, Foreign Language Teaching and Research, Seeker, Finance & Trade Economics, Economic Management, Issues in Agricultural Economy, Asia-Pacific Economic Review, Commercial Times, etc. He has presided over one Humanities and Social Sciences project on Japanese literature funded by the Ministry of Education, presided over and completed 2 provincial projects on education reform and one university research project. He has published 2 academic treatises and edited or translated 5 treatises.

Research Interests: Japanese-Chinese translation; tourism Japanese interpretation; Japanese colonialism literature
